Agree 100%, OP. I normally prefer as little personal drama as can be managed. Good plot + well-developed characters with minimal personal melodrama is near top of my tv series wish list. But. BUT. I would watch the shit out of episodes with these two hanging out and maybe geeking out in the 21st century. :)
