People are fucking stupid then. All that hate because of fanfiction plagiarism when she was...what? A teenager.

She was born in 1973, so it was when she was in her late 20s and 30s, actually.

Cassie's 45, so she would have been in her late twenties/early thirties during HP fandom's heyday. IIR, part of the problem is that she wasn't a teenager. She was a grown-ass woman plagiarizing fic and bullying "lesser" fans.

And not only did she try to sweep it under the rug, she got one of her lawyer friends to attack the people in the fandom that dared to criticize her. Plus the whole sketchiness of getting her "stolen" laptops replaced by the fandom because she was a poor starving artist in NYC and if people didn't replace them, then how would they get the next chapter of her plagiarized fics?

In short, this woman is ugly inside and out, it is very much a case of her inner core showing on her features, and I will never forget or let her off the hook.
