I first saw him in a TV movie called White Dwarf that I still love. I think it was supposed to be a pilot for a movie (much like Tin Man itself) but only the movie was made. It was very interesting.

I remember that! I think it was the first thing I saw him in, too. IIRC, Francis Ford Coppola produced it.
