I don't recall all the details but yes, her bad reputation doesn't just originate from her plagiarism ... and she did a ton of that (which makes me wary of her "work" because I'm not sure how much of it is actually her work). She was not only an online bully but she used her statue as a BNF to sick out her fans against people irl. I'm pretty sure she harrassed someone in particular (again not "just" online harrassed) but, again, it's a bit foggy now.

Cassandra "Cassie" Clare named her red-haired, "not like the other girls" heroine Clarissa "Clary" Fray. I have no problem believing that she came up with that all by herself.
