Yuna wasn't forced into being a Summoner, she chose to become one of her own free will—hell, we know at least Lulu and Wakka opposed to her becoming a Summoner, but in the end they respect what she wanted to do anf supported her. She loves Spira and its people, and that's why she's willing to risk her life to stop Sin. Yeah, she has her father's legacy hovering over her head, but nobody forced her into following in his footstep, she did that all on her own.

You're damned deluded if you think she didn't grow up surrounded by the expectation to follow her father's legacy. It's a big thing they bring up as she travels, that clearly she'll follow her father perfectly because she's his daughter.
