came here to say life on mars (and ashes to ashes)

five seasons sounds like a lot until you remember they're british seasons so they're only eight episodes each :)

Life on Mars was perfect on its own. It didn't need Ashes to Ashes - I felt it was better without the explanation.

life on mars was a better show in its own right, but i found ashes to ashes to be the proverbial icing on the cake (if only for being that rarest of rare beasts - an ending to one of those ontological mysteries that were all the rage at the time that actually made fucking sense within its own mythos)

only problem with lom/a2a is that we never properly found out what happened to annie :/
