Altered Carbon

Is anyone else watching it?

Hell no. I thought nothing could be worse than superhero overkill, but I was wrong. Dystopia overkill is so much worse.

I watched half of the first episode, and I'm interested enough that I'm probably going to watch the rest of it at some point but there's also a real possibility that I'm just never in the mood.

Much more interested in Mute anyway.

I'm thinking about it. Dystopia's have to be really, really good for me to like them. But the concept of this one interests me. So I'll at least probably give it a try.

Just finished. It's got issues, but overall I enjoyed it. I don't expect much of sci-fi in general besides being entertaining, and it was entertaining... albeit in a fairly violent way.

Watched the first eight episodes all in one binge, and just polished off the rest today.

It's both philosophical and a total guilty pleasure, I think. Though I personally could have done with less stiffened nipples. Seriously. Coming from someone who does like women!

But the characters were all so beautifully flawed, and even though the plot may be relatively thin if you truly break it down, the characters and the actors/actresses who portrayed them made it seem much more complex.

It's definitely on my "watch at least once more before Season Two, which I'm so glad we're getting, and please don't re-sleeve the main characters" list.

Was there any male nudity? Or was it all female?

There some male nudity, but there's a LOT more female nudity.
