I didn't get fear from OP's secret? More just like... awkwardness? It's just sort of a bummer conversation to talk about, like "actually, sorry, I'm just not really that into the thing that you really like." It's an awkward conversation.

There's nothing wrong with only being into one ship. (Unless you start insulting other ships, but it doesn't sound like you're doing that.)

I become more of a multishipper with time, but that's me.

I've never been much of a multi-shipper but like with anything your tastes can change over time, and that's fine.

Frankly so long as you're not hounding other people over their ships I doubt your friends would care that you're not into them, and if they do then they're not terribly good friends tbh.

Not sure if we're in the same boat, but here's where I'm at. I still have a list of ships that I ship in many fandoms. And I try to practice writing them still.

But honestly, all I care about right now fandom-wise is South Park and Creek. XP

Most of my DW friends aren't into South Park, so my own engagement in talk of other fandoms/ships is severely limited. Oy vey. Tunnel vision.

It is awkward. It does feel like a falling out of sorts But remember, your friends are not their fandoms. If you can connect on other levels, that has every potential of being awesome, too. And hey, you're worth it. :)

It happens to lots of people eventually. Mostly as they settle into the fandom and develop their taste, after sampling everything on offer, they learn what they really want to go back to the buffet to get seconds of.

Me, I don't have the time and energy to truly multiship. Doesn't mean I hate other ships, I just, if I only have a certain amount of room in my life to read fanfic, then I only really want to read my OTP.

That's a better analogy than my getting-old-and-settling one. xD

I still read fics for random pairings because most of my fandoms are small and I'll also read anything from authors I like, but writing takes up a lot more time for me.

Feeling slightly better about the situation after reading these comments...still not ready to have that conversation, but I might be able to soon. Maybe, lol. Feeling kind of awkward thanking people one by one so, if anyone who commented comes back to read this...thanks!

The plushie is designed to be a keychain, and while brainstorming, the design blueprint had the insides hollow and you could be able to store things (rings, candy...) inside it...from the butt, yes. Someone linked it below too but it's this image here:

But the size was too small for that to be effective and since it's colored white, it would probably get dirty very easily, so they gave up on that design. They did like that idea and in a way to keep some of it still intact, they kept the butt design. xD

If you want to ship a character with many different other characters, if you want to ship different combinations of characters, if you want to ship a single pairing (or threesome or more), or if you don't want to ship any characters, it's fine.

People might be disappointed if you aren't writing the ships they like anymore, but you should be able to write what inspires you to write.
