Who are your favorite composers and movie scores?

Pretty much anything by John Williams obviously

Hans Zimmer's score for the first PotC

John Williams, obviously. The LOTR soundtracks. Doctor Who. Avatar: The Last Airbender, most of the Marvel movies, Superman I and II, a lot of stuff by James Horner, a lot of the Harry Potter music, the Peter Pan soundtrack by James Newton Howard. Lion King, both movie and Broadway.

So many others, but my brain isn't functioning and I can't think of more at the moment.

I really like the new King Arthur: Legend of the Sword soundtrack. I'm a sucker for Disney soundtracks. The most recent soundtrack that I enjoyed is the MLP one. I really enjoy soundtracks where there is a cover of one of the main songs by a famous or semi-famous artist.

I love Hans Zimmer, Clint Mansell, and Henry Jackman.

Some scores I love are Schindler's List, Under the Skin, Arrival, and Mad Max Fury Road.

If anyone hasn't seen Score: A Film Music Documentary, do that. It's pretty entertaining and relatively recent, you can see them recording music for the My Little Pony movie.
