I usually latch onto one character and ship them with EVERYONE!

I only have 1 or 2 OTPs. One is in my icon.

It depends on the fandom. Right now in my main fandom I'm primarily into 2 OTPs that actually conflict with each other along with some side pairings.

In other fandoms like MCU, Star Wars, Buffy, and Doctor Who I multi-ship.

I used to think I had OTPs but someone told me it's only really an OTP if you would never ship them with anyone else so I guess I have no OTPs and I'm a multishipper. I've been called worse.

I don't think that's true. I have two OTPs, and they share one character. But they happen in different time periods in that character's life. And I ship one as romantic and healthy even though they are awful people and the other as messed up, complicated, and awful for the second character. And the second character from the first pairing is long gone. So I still consider them both OTPs.

Also I firmly OTP Buck/Steve and yet also happily ship Steve/Thor.

I don't have any philosophical objection to multishipping. I just don't usually ship enough things to do it myself. I'm lucky if I find one ship in a fandom, honestly.

I feel like I would be labeled as a multishipper but that's more because I have so many fandoms with a ship in them. I mean, I usually find one character I love that I would ship in multiple ways because I love OT3+ but I also have a pretty hard OTP per fandom. I'll ship my OTP in threesomes but I want that one person for my fave character to always be there. But I also ship around too. Some fandoms don't have that one person so I will multiship. But those fandoms also don't hold my longterm interest the way an OTP can.

I'm an OTP'er but I have an OTP for every fandom I'm in so like... I've got a lot of OTP's.

I do multi-ship a little but it tends to be secondary characters or a canon where I don't have a ship I'm die-hard for so I'm a lot more loose with my shipping habits.

OTPs. On the rare occasion that I develop a multi-ship they usually morph into an OT3.

It depends on the characters involved. I have:
OTPs
OT3s
OT3s where I will ship character A with Character B, and Character A with Character C, but can't ship Character B with Character C unless it's in the OT3 with Character A.
Characters I ship with just about every other character.
Characters I really love but can't imagine them pared up with anyone ever.
Impossible crack ships I have unexpectedly gotten really, really invested in.

None of the above. I've never gotten the appeal. Like I'll be happy for characters if they're happy in a relationship in canon but I've never gotten the urge to seek more of it out.

I guess mainly OTPs since I usually only have one pairing I like per character (not that I have a ship for all characters). I'm not 100% consistent though, but my multishipping usually comes in the form of changing my preference from A/B to A/C to A/D over time rather than shipping all of them at once.

It depends on the characters and the fandom. I primarily OTP, but sometimes I can ship pairings outside of the OTP as well.
