I kinda admire that, too, mainly because of how rabid and intrusive some fans can be (I don't know if Highmore's particular fanbase has people like that, but I've certainly heard horror stories with fans of other actors online, so yeah. I don't blame any actor who's careful because of things like that).

And he's one of few child actors who doesn't seem to have gotten caught up in a bunch of crap as he grew up, he seems to have a real head on his shoulders. I don't doubt the fact he's kept his personal life private like this has really helped in that regard.

Oh yes! And actually he has credited his lack of online presence as one of the things that contributed to him being a lot more down-to-earth than one would expect from a child actor
