I've never liked that there's this weird sense that introverts are smarter than extroverts. I sort of get why that happens, and I'm an introvert myself, but it still annoys me.

Even more so since a lot of celebrity social media accounts are business choices. Some people probably do it because they actually enjoy it, but I imagine a lot more do so because their agents or some company or whatever told them to do it. And I can never fault somebody for doing something for money, the world we live in relies on it too much.

I don't think that OP considers him intelligent because they perceive him as introverted, just that they perceive him as more intelligent because he eschews social media in an age where most of us assume it's a necessary part of life, or at least a necessary part of certain careers. Nor do I think the implication is that eschewing social media makes one more introverted.
