I thought it was plausible. She showed up out of the blue and his gut reaction was hell no, then he calmed down, realized he was still attracted and wanted to know her side after all. It seemed easy to see and not necessary to show, better not to so as to stay in Grace's P O V better.

Good show, more people should be discussing it!

I could see that, but it's weird that Grace never has a moment where she asks herself (or him!) "What changed his/your mind?" and the whole super awkward confrontation where he clearly hasn't forgiven her for standing him up all those years ago is never addressed again. The show built up to the confrontation, then never showed how that conflict got resolved... only that it did, somehow.
