Black Panther made $201 million domestically this weekend. That will make it the 2nd largest MCU opening of all time!

Also, it will probably make more in the first two weeks than Justice League made in their entire domestic run.

I'm glad it's doing well, I really liked it and fell in love with pretty much the entire cast. Would like them in all the movies plz. Especially Shuri, she was so cute.

Wright just has a sparkly screen presence that seems to outshine everyone else in the scene when ever she appears. It took a horde of battle-rhinos to upstage her.

Both her and Okoye had my heart so quickly, they were great and probably my faves out of the supporting cast, but tbh I really liked them all I've just got a huge soft spot for plucky tech geniuses.

I've not seen her in anything else though so idk what she's like elsewhere but in BP I loved her.

They will have 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight?' 'Hakuna Matata,' 'I Just Can’t Wait To Be King,' and 'Circle of Life'.

At first I was mad, but someone pointed out that Be Prepared is actually FAR less popular than the four songs they chose.

Personally, I'd rather they cut Hakuna Matata. Only Lion King song I don't like. And why cut one at all? But I'm still excited for this.

It really is. I'm still hoping they put in Shadowland....

Yes! And also Endless Night. And some of the score music from either movie or musical.

Well, that's the only song I like pretty much... damn.

Booooo! Be Prepared is one of my favorite villain's songs. I know it would never happen, but I'd rather they cut Can You Feel The Love Tonight? aka my least favorite Disney love song.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri won a lot, but Daniel Kaluuya won EE Rising Star, Guillermo del Toro won for directing, James Ivory won for adapted screenplay, and Allison Janney won for supporting.

In other news, Sally Field is trying to matchmake her son with Adam Rippon, there's a Creed II, and Aaron Paul's newborn baby girl is named Story Annabelle Paul.

The love for TBOEM is baffling to me.

Yeah, it's a little puzzling to me too. I mean, Frances McDormand usually turns in great performances, but there were other really good movies and performances this year, too.
