142. I like anime/manga precisely because of this. Monster/Villain of the week plots have always made me want to smash my head against the wall, and I always tend to skip over the single-episode plots to get to the myth-arc revelevant stuff when I watch Western shows, or read Western comics. Obviously, different people enjoy different ways of storytelling.

And I can't help but laugh at your assertion that the anime style of storytelling is any more or less riddled with plot holes than any other medium. If the one-plot-per-volume format was so flawless, then there would never have to be the sheer number of retcons and retools that occur within most Western comics. Hate to burst your bubble.

145. Somebody doesn't read very many fandom!secrets, because I assure you that you are very much not alone. I happen to like (not love) that series for the melodrama that it is, but it's certainly not gonna be everyone's cup of tea.

157. If you believe that the Doctor only has One True Love, then you really need to go and watch some classic!Who. Or at the very least do an eensy bit of research. I don't care what you ship, but the whole True Love thing is just not who the Doctor is. Love, yes. 'True' love, no.
