I'm sure many people with ADHD see it as a gift, just as they do with autism etc etc. My point is whether it's a gift or a curse, doesn't give you the right to suggest someone has it. My main issue was simply the fact that while the OP specifically said they have trouble watching MST3000 (meaning they can happily sit and watch Grey's Anatomy, Lost or any other number of shows), you had to turn it into 'maybe it's ADHD', which is just so completely out of left-field (or right-field, I'm a little sticky on Americanisms) that I felt I had to comment. I was no way speaking on behalf of ADHD sufferers (although I'm sure you'll take umbrage at that appellation, too), as I think was pretty clear. I was speaking as myself suggesting that perhaps you might want to think about whether there is any justification before you go throwing these things around.
I'm pretty sure the OP hasn't even read these comments, but if they have and there's a chance they're now scared and worried there's something wrong with them, I think I pretty justified in saying you should be more careful.
To reiterate, I never said there was anything wrong with having ADHD. There's also nothing wrong with having diabetes, but that doesn't mean I'd go around telling people they have it because they want a glass of water on a hot day.
