I liked the first game’s sense of humor, but it felt kind of padded. Yokai were too hard to catch, there were too many uninspired designs and boring palette swaps, and some of the sidequests took forever. I haven’t heard much to sell me on the second or third games.

You are my wife's soulmate, for the record.

I do really hope it comes out here too, they're such fun games! The show is great too, though I'm not a fan of the localization in the slightest. (For the life of me, I don't know why they changed the names of the kids. Keita is a perfectly easy name to say and understand! If they were going for the Everytown, USA feel, like... Japanese-Americans exist? Idk, that really bothers me.)

I'd think the biggest hindrance is that it's for the 3DS, not the Switch.
