When I have migraines? Not really because light/sound hurt me.

When generally sick, happy shows like Parks and Rec or Great British bake Off.

This is my problem. Light/sound does bother me. I've go the light off and my computer screen dimmed with a program that takes out the blue light. I'm trying to figure out a show that doesn't get too loud. Because it is day 5 and I'm bored. But most of the stuff I have is loud at least in parts.

Oh, wait, I have Poirot. Maybe that won't be too loud?

I always found Mushishi very peaceful, while still having a lot of character and emotional tension.

Scrubs and Newsradio

nice, witty, dialogue-heavy sitcoms that aren't too embarrassing or brutal

Stuff I watched as a kid are my comfort go-to's, which for me are classic Simpsons/Futurama and Are You Afraid Of The Dark. :>

.... I misread your your question THREE TIMES in a row as "Do you have to go to shows when you're not feeling well?" and was wondering what on earth would make you think going to shows was a requirement, then whether you meant to reply to somebody who DID have to go to shows with a specific question, and then my brain finally twigged to the fact that it wasn't reading things right *headdesk*

So to answer the question you didn't ask,no, nobody ever has to go to see shows if they're not feeling well; they should give the tickets to healthy people, and spend the night in bed.

and to answer the question you DID ask - yeah, Frasier. Because you can understand them even if you're in that ill faze where you can't quite keep your eyes open, and even at it's most flamboyant and dramatic it never gets nastily tense - eveything's charming.

Soothing nature documentaries, preferably narrated by David Attenborough.

P.S. If you've got Netflix, NatureVision TV and Moving Art are both lovely nature scenes and soft music. I don't think there's any narration at all.

Netflix has a couple collections of Bob Ross episodes.
