To each their own, but I can only agree with the BS!2, because I feel like the Hobbit movies didn't do any favors for any of the characters, and Galadriel is, sadly, no exception.

Other than that, though, I fully disagree. I've loved Galadriel since I first read LotR at age 14. The first time I read the Silmarillion, I kinda skimmed the parts that didn't involve her. Same with Unfinished Tales. I first discovered fanfic while looking for websites about her, and it just so happened that the first fic I read was smut about her and an OC elf maiden, and that's kinda how I first started to figure out that I liked girls, too. I owe that magnificent queen so much.
