I don't get many of the decisions made with the Stargate property these days. When they decided to end Atlantis and start Universe, I gave up on it. A young Catherine Langford's adventures sounds kind of interesting, but I have a feeling they'll be retconning stuff from SG-1.

Wow, judgy much? The series started out by messing with the movie canon, and SGA messed with SG-1 canon, and SGU messed with the previous shows' canons, and don't get me started on the comics, where beings from the Daedalus Variations AU suddenly show up in this universe's Milky Way. How impossible is it to line up decades of TV/movies anyway? Being a purist only makes me miserable.

I'm just grateful for more Stargate.

I'm just trying to be grateful there's more Stargate. While this does mess with SG1 canon, I'm just going to pretend it's an AU. This is just TPTB dipping their toes in to see if there's still interest...and I really want them to think there is.

I haven't seen the episodes, but it's not just 3. There are a series of 10 approximately 10 minute long eps. To judge interest in the franchise, evidently. I'm not a fan of paying for access for every little thing these days but if you're a Stargate fan the $20 USD might be worth it.

The first three were released on the 14th. I'm guessing those are the ones the secret poster is talking about. Two more were released the other day, but that would have been after the secret was submitted.
