What did you want to be when you grew up?

What are you actually? Do you miss not making that childhood goal?

I wanted to be a veterinarian but now I am a production planner. I realized in high school that I hate blood so being a vet would not be realistic.

As a small child I wanted to be a geologist. I still love rocks, but I'm aiming at being a history professor now and I know that will be better for nowadays-me. I can be an amateur rock admirer in my spare time.

A comic book artist. I'm not into comic books anymore but I still wish I could break into the illustrating world one day...

I wanted to be a pediatrician when I was a kid. I thought it'd be cool to be a doctor who helps kids. I'm a special ed teacher now, so I still help kids, just in a different way.

I wanted to be a paleontologist and I became an archaeologist. I think I'm more employable this way, but if I had tried going into paleontology I most likely would have wound up a geologist, which probably would have made me quite happy.

Well I knew I always wanted to write for a career. I'm still figuring out what I want to do with that, and I'm in my early 30s. -.-;;

For a long time I wanted to be a vulcanologist. Then a doctor. But from about middle school on, my biggest desire was just to help people. At first it was as a doctor. Then, when I figured out I wouldn't be able to do that, I didn't know. I did have a dream once about being a lawyer, and it was an idea. But I really didn't think I would be capable of that.

I wanted to be a veterinarian. But then I decided against that because I'd have to put pets down. Currently I buy drugs for our pharmacy in a smaller hospital within a large healthcare system. Really I should have become a writer, but oh well. I'm okay with what I'm doing now.
