NAYRT—holy shit thank you so much for articulating that so well. I felt slightly more sympathy for Vader than for Kylo, once we had a backstory for him, but there weren’t many people out there arguing that Vader would be redeemed by romantic love, and it bothers me that so many Reylo shippers are drawing comparisons to Mr. Darcy. I don’t even like Darcy, but comparing him to a mass-murderer is a bit much.
