I found a sick crow that I called "Catfood" for the few hours it took me to drive it to what was apparently the only bird rescue in all of Southern California that will take crows.

There was a little yellow kitten that hung around our house for a few hours one day. I called it Squash.

Oh yeah, I also call our dog Beanpie (her name is Coco) or Pumpkin.

She's round and likes sitting in the field. It fits.

My dad used to have a hound dog named Biscuit. I regularly call our pug Ham hock.

None that I can think of but I know like 3 or 4 families with little white dogs named Tofu.

Licorice for one with black coloring
Marshmallow for one with white coloring
Cocoa, brownie, or coffee for one with dark brown coloring
Carrots or pumpkin for one with orange coloring

Cadbury for my chocolate colored boy cat. He was a barn kitten and the only one colored that way in a litter of five. We have no idea where he got it from.

I just wasted a bunch of time watching videos of pandas because I vaguely remembered there was once a baby panda unofficially named Butterstick.

We call the orange outdoor cat that sometimes appears in our yard (he's got a collar and presumably lives somewhere in the neighborhood) Orange Creamsicle or just Creamsicle.

My dog is named Inari.

I named her after a character from a book series.

But I've had more than one person ask me if it had anything to do with inarizushi. /facepalm
