Given what local and store radio is like in this country, I am baffled that someone could have missed seventies and eighties hits. I mean unless they're getting into really obscure corners of it, in which case well done, but.... really?

Bluetooth and spotify in cars + nobody goes to brick and mortar stores any more. I can't recall the last time I went into a brick and mortar store that wasn't a grocery store or restaurant.

Months at least. Possibly years.

I think there's a huge difference between hearing a song in the background, and actively listening to a song and knowing who made it and what it is and placing it into a context and getting properly into it.
