109. B-b-b-b-butthurt. Annoying fandom is annoying I agree, and too many wanky prepubescent kids are into the KH fandom. But honestly? Your loss for being narrow-minded about it.

129. Yeah, I feel you. Too many old Who fans just can't let it be that the 10th Doctor is not Tom Baker. It's a show, it's okay. Let us all have fun with both the old and the new.

Speaking as an old-school fan who is old enough to have watched Pertwee first run, let me say that I totally agree with this comment. I love old Who and I love new Who too. I don't understand why some people think that we should have to pick between them.

If he's your favorite, he's your favorite. Like I said above, I'm an old-school fan and I don't think any less of you. For a long time, I liked Davison better than Tom Baker, which was a huge sin. Now I like them both (and Tennant!) equally. There are only a couple of Doctors that I really dislike.

Ug, I'm so tired of that one. I love Ten, I really do. I'm not sure if he's my favourite--it's so hard to have a favourite, but I get tired of hearing angry!fandom whine that people only like Ten because he's pretty or whatever. Ah...yeah, not. All those things you* find annoying about him? His energy, his hyperactiveness, his enthusiasm, his selfishness, creepiness, and even overacting? Those are all the things I absolutely love.

But then, I love Six, so that's no surprise. Still, no one says you picked Six for the looks (I so did, though. He had me at that horrible coat!).

Colin Baker was damned sexy in the Amazing Technicolor Nightmarecoat. I'd hit it, anyway. The problem with that era was not so much the actors or the performances as the writing sucking the cosmic big one, and even it wasn't as bad as everyone claimed. (At least, compared with the overall history of the series. There are some serious stinkers throughout the run of the shpw.)

I can't help missing Tom when David is acting like a dysfunctional robot on speed, though.

All I can do is shrug at you. True he's not really his own doctor, he mostly takes from the others, but I think it's a lot of pressure on him to do his own unique thing. There's not much more you can do unless you just want to give up on new Who and watch older episodes. :/ People need to not bitch about it and get over themselves, sorry.
