i liked it better when it was called DARK CITY

i cant be the only one who loves that movie to death

sad that it doesnt have a fandom it soo much better

I recently rediscovered Dark City and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I hadn't seen it since it first came out ten years ago, and the whole time I was rewatching it I kept thinking, "Wow, this is so much better than the Matrix." I like that it moves along at a nice pace and makes its point in a neat, succinct, mostly non-preachy way that doesn't drag on for entire trilogy.

One of my best friends describes it as "the only fandom [she's] actually involved in." No idea where this fandom is, or I'd totally point you, but she's definitely got me trained to think of it whenever people talk about how original The Matrix is.
