I'd heard about that (one of the many things I love about him. Like you said--classy.), but I hadn't heard that he wasn't the voice in the second one.

Actually, I've got no idea what Doug Jones sounds like...

Considering that he's done so much creature work (From Billy Butcherson in Hocus Pocus to the Gentlemen in Buffy to the Faun in Pan's Labyrinth), he's been dubbed over as part of his roles almost constantly, or not actually had spoken lines. The first one I heard him in was the Hellboy animated movies, and I felt he did a great job.

I remember him as the Faun--it floored me when I found out that he had actually learned Spanish for the role, and even though he got dubbed over, it meant that his mouth movements synched up beautifully. But I didn't know he was Billy in Hocus Pocus. Aw, that brings back childhood memories right there. Billy had some lines--I take it that wasn't dubbed over, right?

I honestly can't recall, and wish I had the movie on hand to check. He's been in some awesome stuff.

And ditto with the flooring for the Faun... not to mention he had to learn everyone else's lines in Spanish because he could barely hear them and the cues inside the costume. That man's just adorably awesome.
