Heh. :P I should've clarified... I didn't just pick TB up in the store one day. I started out when X was serialized in whatever magazine that was... gosh, that was a long time ago. ANIMERICA. That's what it was. Anyway, I loved CLAMP's art, and sought out other projects. Tokyo Babylon wasn't yet released in America at the time, so I bought the regular Japanese volumes and read translations online. Got positively OBSESSED with it, loved it forever. Kept reading X, watched the movie, even had a brief love affair with the band. :P (Still love Weekend and Sadistic Desire.) Read all the way up to X18. Skimmed through the TV show... didn't love it as much as I wanted to. Heard the trio were in Tsubasa as vampires (?), but never did track that down.

Now, it's years later. I've heard CLAMP's released five more chapters of X, but aren't any closer to figuring out an ending. Subaru, the last time I saw him, was wearing Seishirou's eye and was ambiguously evol. I don't really consider that an ending, though... I mean, I know that's where he is at the moment, and sure, Hokuto and Seishirou are dead and all, but I'm not satisfied. I'd like to know if he keeps doing the Sakurazukamori thing full-time forever, whether he gets killed, whether that's gonna be the end of the Sakurazukamori thing, since he was already in love and probably isn't gonna fall in love again in time to be killed by that person... etc, etc.

And while I like Fuuma and Kamui, I'm not a huge fan. Kamui's a little too over-tortured, Fuuma's not engaging enough. I'm more of a fan of the cheerful characters... Sora, Karen, Aoki, Yuuto, Yuzuriha. I really love Kanoe, too.
