I don't hate it, but I find it a bit boring.

But it wouldn't be the Doctor Who fandom if folks weren't angry about any change, any change at all, which I always found ironic even the story content...

I like it too. It has the feeling of a true refresh with a sense of wonder and adventure. Maybe we'll even have a season free of Daleks and Cybermen!

(but also, more seriously: I generally like letting a new doctor have a run-around with Daleks or Cybermen early on in their first season. It's kind of a cool way to measure the new regeneration against a familiar villain. I think what I'm really tired of with the Daleks/Cybermen is using them to the point of exhaustion in the big, important, plot-heavy parts of the series).

Yeah, very much this. Daleks with RTD (and a lesser extent Moffat), and the Cybermen with Moffat (and to a lesser extent RTD).

Pretty big shift in design. I can see how that, and the Doctor being flung from the TARDIS, imply big differences between this season and what we've been getting. Cue much foreboding, and nervous fans.

But actually looking at it, it's a nice design.

I hadn't seen it yet and I like it! I definitely hated the pointed oval logo from when the show first came back and was meh on the more recent loho.
