Asexuality can sneak up on you like that.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-02 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH GOT EM!!! lol

Good for you finding out you're asexual, OP! And thank you for giving me hope, as I too hope to find one in the wild!

Maybe you aren't into Hollywood perfect.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-02 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
And mayve op believed in the myth so hard it actually turned them asexual.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-02 01:05 am (UTC)(link)
Ahahaha, that's a great plot twist, OP. ;D

Kind-of same, except with aromanticism and feeling perfectly content with periodic fictional character infatuation over having an actual SO. Despite being entirely capable of forming close bonds with real people.

That would explain why you thought you weren't attracted to people who weren't "Hollywood perfect" because you figured they had to be perfect to be attractive. Goodness knows, I've been attracted to people who aren't "Hollywood perfect!"
