Re: Dumbest thing you've personally witnessed in fandom

AYRT—this isn’t so much dumb as fucking terrifying, but apparently the actor whose RPF-shipping fans hate his wife got long rambling letters about how the writer was protecting him from overzealous fans— on hotel stationary, all from places he’d stayed, with dates corresponding to when he’d been staying there. Honestly if it’d been me who got something like that, I’d have quit acting, packed up my family, and moved to the middle of nowhere with no forwarding address and a crocodile-infested moat surrounding an electrified fence.

That's... That's just so sad.

They're doing this job to have fun and hopefully entertain us, no one should ever get to the point where they have to keep their going-abouts secret and hidden because the fans don't understand the concept of personal boundaries and private time.

God not that I ever wanted to be remotely famous, but I could never do it. I like my own space and private life far too much to want to bother with any of that bullshit.

They're goddamn fucking people too, jfc.
