I took a job at Starbucks instead of in my field (IT)

And I'm like......you know what? Cool. It shouldn't be so hard to break into an industry where the base level is sitting at a desk and helping people, even just help desk. And I don't even like all the sitting!

I still think I'll fall into IT, but I just wanted to be in it for not too long, until I had enough money to A) move from my shithole town and B) live comfortably and make myself a real film critic.

I've always wanted to learn about coffee.

This is me too. It just feels nice to have some sort of stability and not stress over “do I have enough experience to fucking qualify?” :(

Yep! And while i don't want to stand for 5.5 hours or stare customers in the face, I won't get anywhere if I don't do anything.
