That sounds really annoying. Why don't you jusr write a fic (because you don't feel like it, etc.) or use it as a prompt?

"Imagine" sounds cutesy in an irksome way. I thought about cupcake and things like that. Lol since if the characters I like would likely not tease you for liking character Y, but would groom you into the Next Big Bad and make you eliminate Y, since they are a weakness. Bonus twist, if X sent you away to train for a long period, you would like turn into a love interest for X once you returned as an adult. I like villains in fiction, and this is how it would function, if you were lucky.
