Milking franchises dry. Their movies playing it as safe as fucking possible but being praise for two seconds of what might be a gay couple after a few years of public majority support because it's revolutionary. Or having 1 black after 20 white superhero movies.

Not especially. I watch most of the superhero and animation because my friends are into them. They tend to suffer from too many cooks in the kitchen, cut the more interesting stuff in fear of alienating their audience, and feel too polished and formatic for me to really care.
