Did a funny scene in a movie strike you as sad? Did a serious scene strike you as amusing? Do you just not get why you're supposed to feel sorry for a character in a particular context?

- I ALWAYS found the crap that happened to Charlie Brown sadder than funnier. I actually loved Charlie Brown, but while some things were amusing, I found the "Friend Nobody Likes" stuff a little depressing, even as a kid.

Jerry from Parks and Rec is the adult equivalent of this sentiment; and again, I love the show itself, just not those particular scenes/arcs. But that actually seems like the general consensus, which the writers on that show somehow never caught onto (or maybe they did, and just didn't care).

Even as a kid I could never see the Twilight Zone episode "To Serve Man" as scary because it just felt like a joke that takes a half-hour setup to get to the punchline. Even more so with the short story it's based on, where "It's a cookbook!" is literally the last line.

All the time. Most of my sex dreams involve fandom-related stuff. Some favorites include Steve and Thor threesome with me, Lucius Malfoy and Hela threesome, Sirius Black on his motorcycle, and Spike and Angel and Willow and me.

I'm not good at remembering the details of my dreams, and I very rarely have sex dreams at all. Most of my dreams usually seem to involve running around infinitely large hotels and stuff.

I wish. When I have dreams about celebrities or characters, we are doing stupid shit. I once had a dream where I was making hamburgers with the DBZ people. And then I had a dream with Buffy where we were taking care of someone's pet iguana.

I had a fail sex-dream about Chris Evans where even my subconscious was like 'lmao' at the idea of me dating him so I spent the whole dream running away from dream!Evans and making him sad.

I've have had sex dreams about parings I don't even ship though, that one's weird, especially when I've only seen their faces so I know nothing about them canon-wise.

The only dream I've had that's involved a canon character and myself is one where me and Catwoman were getting it on in a bed with lots of cats around. Can't remember much more than that though.

I've actually never had a sex dream. At least, none that I can recall. All my dreams involving celebrities are weird, like the one where I had tea with Gerard Way at the American Girl Place and we discussed comic books or the one where I was testing out bouncy houses with Misha Collins.

Do I just trust my doctor?

So I did end up going to see my doctor today because I was having trouble breathing on top of everything else. He thinks I have pneumonia. Got a chest X-ray to confirm. He gave me a prescription for cough med. Yay.

The thing is, he also gave me an antibiotic prescription. And, I'm worried about taking an antibiotic if I don't need it. The whole antibiotic-resistant bacteria thing. And isn't pneumonia possibly a virus? It doesn't always have to be a bacteria. So I don't want to take an antibiotic if I don't need it. And doctors do over prescribe sometimes.
