I was sad about Runas but it didn't make me cry, just more of an 'awwww noooo' type feeling for a bit.

But Ysera, fucking YSERA. HOW. WHY. I. NO. I finished the quest, watched the cut-scene and then burst into tears and had to get my guild druid-buddy to console me, we were both very dramatic and OTT in g-chat which helped.

Oooof, yeah. The real-life circumstances surrounding that quest are heartbreaking enough, but even without that it's also just pretty upsetting on it's own and so sombre. That one left me more numb than tearful though and I haven't done in on alts ever again. I'm good.

I'm actually still grumbly that they didn't find SOME way to slip Runas back. Would a single line in the "crowd" after Nighthold have killed anyone? I think not!

Bridenbrad is the one quest that stayed with me since WotLK. I think I only did it twice. the second time, even though I knew what was coming, still made me drip tears all over my keyboard. (I really ought to get a waterproof keyboard someday.)

We could just take him to the tree in Suramar and he'd be fine surely? WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY MAGIC. At least I'll pretend that we dunked him under there to get better.

It is a very, very good quest-line, it's just pretty heavy tbh and not something I really wanna do again. I sat staring at the screen for a good 5 mins after I did it just thinking. Good quest, but very sad.

Yeah, I want to believe that he held on somehow until the Arcandor was revitalized.

Bonus: This lovely art by Ajelo for all the Runas feels.
