Is the choice between having sex and not having sex, or having sex and being beaten or raped anyway?

You get to a point where you just become whatever is least likely to set the other person off. If that is compliant with whatever sex they want to have, then you just do it. Nothing is really about choice because they control everything you do. You can't leave. Leaving isn't even a thought you let yourself have because it's not safe to think about.

You could say it's never rape I guess. It doesn't feel like that. It feels like every time that person has ever touched you, they've done so without your consent. You didn't know who they really were the first time. If you did, you would have stopped it. You never had all the information you needed in order to make that choice for yourself. They lied to you. They took something from you, and you'll never feel safe around other people again or capable of making the right choices. It doesn't feel more like rape when you're being choked for telling them to stop than it does when they kiss you and say the things they're supposed to say and you let it happen because you know now that it's not real, and that if you make the wrong move you might actually die this time.
