He's not even mentioned and doesn't make an appearance at all. But as much as I liked them together, I didn't mind. There's plenty going on, and a new love interest.

Is it different tone wise than season one? I tried to get through that twice and just couldn't.

I haven't finished it, but I don't know that it's so very different. The focus has changed from Kilgrave so there isn't quite as much about Jessica's past trauma. It's more about IGH, the experiments they conducted upon children and what it all means. Trish features more, too.

She hasn't appeared so far, and going by IMDB she doesn't appear at all in season 2.

considering her role's been reduced to "luke's girlfriend" this doesn't surprise me (but it does disappoint me).
