I don't understand the use of the word "anti" here, to be quite frank.

I thought that the whole concept of "anti" was that it wasn't just someone who disliked a ship. That, you know, disliking a ship is fine, and that antis were people who went out of their way to antagonize, and criticize, and got up in the tags and were aggressively hostile towards people trying to ship peacefully.

And I'm not sure that's the case with anyone here. So I'm not sure what we're talking about when we talk about antis on F!S specifically.

Oh no, I agree. I don't think there are hardcore Reylo antis here on FS, or at least the ones who have popped up have been mocked into silence.

But I think there are a handful of us here on FS who aren't in the SW fandom or invested in the ship, but we're so generally put out with morality policing and the anti mentality that we align with the Reylo shippers out of sheer exasperation.

Not to say Reylo shippers can't be annoying as fuck, too... but if your whole tag was inundated with assholes calling you abuse apologists, I can see how you'd get a little salty.

Yeah, you can't really have "antis" without sideblogs to collect "receipts" about other sideblogs, or blacklists and warnings because someone reblogged someone who reblogged someone on "the other side."

Exactly. I think I saw only one anti who was being a total jerk. Simply not being into the ship, or not seeing it happen makes someone a horrible anti?
