I think he's my favorite, too. I never really had a favorite among Classic Who Doctors, and while Ten was probably my favorite of the new Doctors for a while, Twelve definitely surpassed him.

No problems. I miss Craig so much. The biggest shame is that didn't get to guest star in an episode of Doctor Who with Capaldi.

This is such a sweet secret.

You remind me of one of my very good friends. She didn't really like Doctor Who but would tolerate it for me and let me watch it if I was staying with her on a Saturday night. Well...a couple of years ago she decided to watch the entire revived series again and give it another go. Now Peter Capaldi is her favourite Doctor and one of her favourite actors. I love reading all the joy his Doctor and his other projects have been bringing her. I don't know if he'd be my favourite Doctor but he's certainly one of my favourite humans!

For the longest time, Ten was my favorite Doctor, but then along came Twelve and knocked Ten down to number two in my heart. I loved Twelve's journey and I'm gonna miss him.

I absolutely adore Peter Capaldi and wanted to love his doctor because he was just so damn cute about it. But it actually drove me from watching (too be fair, I was never a hardcore watcher). I don't blame Capaldi (it was the writing), but I can't love his doctor...

He's definitely my favourite of the new Doctors. Child!Me insists that Four is My Doctor but Adult!Me loves Twelve the best.

Oh, I adore Twelve. Like you, I've never had a favorite Doctor before, but Twelve and Capaldi are basically burned onto my heart now.

I know the writing wasn't brilliant during his run, and a lot of people say they can't watch his era because of Moffat, but you know what? I've never expected great writing from DW. RTD's writing never impressed me, either. There's always been a lot of silliness and inconsistency and flouting of physics and what-have-you. But the emotional intensity in Twelve's character arc is totally up my alley, and Capaldi's performance is a thing of wonder. If silly family scifi shows ever won awards, his acting throughout the series would deserve multiple nominations. Also, team Twelve - Clara, Bill, Missy, and Nardole, with a dash of River - knocked it out of the park. I love every damn one of them. The chemistry and acting chops aboard that TARDIS were irresistible, and it definitely contributes to Twelve being my best beloved.

Also, yeah, Peter Capaldi is beautiful, and by the final season I found it hard to take my eyes off him.

In conclusion, Twelve forever. <3
