Also depends on the placement. Don't tattoo anything that's going to get really saggy.

The shoulder would probably be okay. Personally, I'd stay away from the boobs or belly unless I was getting a tattoo to obscure surgical scars.

Plus it's also important to keep in mind that tattoos can really limit your job prospects unless they're in a place that can be easily concealed. I work retail and even then we're not allowed to have any visible tattoos - if you can't hide it under clothing, you have to use makeup to cover it up while on the clock, no exceptions.

It's so weird that tattoos have been around for literally thousands of years and there's still a stigma about them.
