There's a weird anti-FFVII backlash going on in the gamer community at large that I really don't get. One day it just became the trendy thing to hate.

Probably. XD The anime has a lot of memories for me, of waking up at 6 AM for cartoons before school...but I really like the balance of drama and comedy they struck in PGSM. The mood felt closer to the manga, even if the story verged off in a different direction.

134. As someone who recently got into mmorpgs, iawtc so hard. I never realised the bias most players have against girl players until they found out there was a female behind my male character. I think it's a lot less in fandoms though... although I could be wrong. It depends on the fandom I suspect.

I don't know, in terms of the series there's far more evidence to support Amestris being parallel England than Germany: English names (people and places), English street signs... while it does parallel Germany to a certain extent, I think it's more British.

I think, I've always stayed out of Nirvana Vs Love stuff but reading that she's STILL so obsessed with him. it was a bit uncomfortable.

I definitely see where you're coming from with this. Even as a Sylar/Mohinder OMG OTP FOR LYFE!!111!!!1! shipper I always find it hard to reconcile because there's no happy ending for Mohinder. He's pretty much my favourite character and it's difficult to see him angsting all over the place, or being mind-fucked, or submitting to Sylar, or WHATEVER. But then again, Mylar is never going to be happily ever after and that angst and constant conflict is kind of what I like about it... AGH. They're just both so very pretty.

I'm not even going to get into my thoughts on Matt/Mohinder and why they're not this perfect little family like fandom seems to think because this comment is already too long X|
