101. I am glad you found something to make you feel okay about it, but lawd, he's the number one reason I ever feel shame about being atheist. He's insulting cruel and outright offensive to everyone with religious beliefs. I used to have religious beliefs, and now that I don't I never feel stupid about once having them. Like I said, I am glad for you, but there are much MUCH better atheist role models.

Word. Penn Jillette's picture is next to the word "jerk" in the dictionary. It has absolutely zero to do with his atheism; he'd be a jerk no matter what his beliefs were. (Teller, on the other hand, has always seemed like a reasonable human being.)
