Yeah ... how is this even relevant? Seriously, a person getting mindwiped to forget everything about the life that FINALLY allowed her to live up to her potential, potential that will now be completely wasted, is kind of inherently more tragic than the end of a romance, no matter how serious and life-changing that romance is. That's just the way it is. Death of potential >>> death of relationship.

Frankly, I half suspect you're just trolling to bring out the cries of, "All Rose-shippers are the antichrist and must be destroyed!!!"

What? Uh, I don't understand what you are arguing.

The OP thinks the Donna thing is sadder than the Rose thing. So? Seems like you agree with him/her... not sure why you seem mad.

I disagree, actually, because I don't give a crap about Donna and I love Rose, but to each their own, right?

For your information, I have a lot of Doctor/Rose shippers on my flist, and some of them were still upset about Doomsday throughout the fourth series. I certainly have nothing against Rose-shippers, but I don't think it was unreasonable to think that not everyone would see the situation in that way (death of potential vs death of relationship). And to be honest, I had actually submitted that secret last Saturday, right after watching Journey's End, so it was probably a bit of a knee-jerk reaction in memory of people's reactions when Doomsday first aired.
