It’s one of those movies where the budget was so stupidly bloated, it needed to be a smash hit to be a success at all.

It's gotten really bad reviews from critics and the audience. Most people who saw it just didn't like it.

I've only heard good things from regular people who've seen it. Critics haven't liked it but I think the audience must be pretty mixed.

(Anyway, number two to Black Panther is hardly failing at the box office)

PS LBJ was pretty terrible.

I liked it. My family liked it.

My husband didn't like Black Panther though. Not superhero-ish enough. The rest of us liked it.

Yeah, it's making decent money, but not to what box office expectations were supposed to be. Also reviews were mixed for the film.

And that's not even taking into account Black Panther's wild success eating in to what the movie might have made otherwise.
