I don't know. Was Aslan supposed to represent God? I missed that memo in the movies.

Yeah, Aslan's Jesus. It's blatant in the books, but even in the movie he still literally dies for the sins of man (or Edmund, at least), and is resurrected from the dead, and said death and resurrection leads to the triumph of his followers over evil.

Yeah I never read the books as a kid. And I've always been shite at symbolism, lol. Whoops!
