I don't think it was shit, but I've never felt an urge to rewatch the first movie. It's a popcorn flick and I've seen/heard all the jokes now so... /shrug

(Anonymous) 2018-03-22 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope, still love the first one, gross sex jokes and all.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-22 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow, petty much?

(Anonymous) 2018-03-22 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
When that movie came out I got so sick of seeing his face everywhere and having everyone tell me how I had bad taste for not liking the movie.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-22 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Are they saying the trailer is bad? Cool, let me check it out for myself now. I love me some good schadenfreude.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-22 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
SA. So, it wasn't funny, but it wasn't *bad*. It was mediocre.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-22 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Speak for yourself. I've watched the first at least three times and still think it's funny as fuck. And after watching the trailer for the new movie, I might even be tempted to watch it in the theatre this time.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-29 01:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Agreed!

I'm sorry you were born without a sense of humor, OP :( is there anything the doctors can do?

A plague on both your houses.

...Nah, actually you're more annoying than the OP.

You're the expert in being annoying, so I'll defer to you.

not op

If disliking Ryan Reynolds is a disease, I don't want it cured.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-23 12:10 am (UTC)(link)
I just rewatched it and it was great fun this time around too.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-23 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
I thought they reshot parts and then showed the new, redone movie to test audiences who liked it?

(Anonymous) 2018-03-23 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
According to recent news the recent test screenings got better reviews than the test screenings of the first movie so maybe a bit premature there, OP.

It's not out yet and I don't think it has been released for reviews.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-23 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
If you are talking about the trailer, well, that's strange. Because some trailers are very indicative of their movie, but some are really not and you can't always tell. The movie is out May 18, so reviews will likely come in May.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-23 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
Ouch, really?

(Anonymous) 2018-03-23 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
*shrug* To each their own, but I love the first one.

Then again I was less than lukewarm on Spider-Man Homecoming and apparently that was ~amazing~.

I've never been interested in Deadpool. Never seen the first one, never want to. I'm not a fan of a ton of bad language in something. It makes me uncomfortable. I don't judge anyone else for liking the movie or for saying the words. It just isn't for me. But I think hoping something fails or hoping people will stop liking something they like is kind of mean.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-23 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
I only watched it for the X-men. If any of them are in it, I'll watch. It'll be better than the recent X-Men movies at least.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-23 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
I've lost count of how many times I've watched it.

Is it a masterpiece? Heck no. Is it two-ish hours of silliness, gross jokes, and fourth-wall breaking? You bet! And when I'm feeling down, that's exactly what I need.

Besides, any movie brave enough to sneak pegging in an "R" rating will always get my undying devotion (obvious kink is obvious).

Some salty AF trolls in here this week.

LOL, omg all these passionate 'how RUDE!' responses to you, who knew so many people had such low standards?
