Best/Worst Podfic You've Encountered

(Anonymous) 2018-03-23 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
What's the best podfic you ever heard? What made it good? Links please!

What's the worst podfic you ever heard? What made it bad? Also, did it turn so pad it's actually good? Or is it just not good in any way?

Or do you detest podfic?

I've never listened to any, so I wanted to get some recs, and see what is the higher caliber/what I should be *listening* for (ha ha ha)

I don't have specifics on hand at the moment, but there was a brief rash in the Sherlock fandom of Americans trying to speak dialogue with a British accent and... oh man. Those were so bad.

Somehow, though, the worst ones were the ones that were Americans reading the entire thing in a bad British accent.
