Nah, it's sex negative and reduces this actor to her breasts.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-24 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Are you implying that large breasts/large-breasted women are somehow inherently sexual/sex positive?

(Anonymous) 2018-03-24 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Not exactly. They're not inherently sexual, but in this context they're sexual.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-24 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
So it's sex negative to mock dudes who objectify large-breasted women?

(Anonymous) 2018-03-25 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
No, it's sex negative to celebrate an actor solely because she doesn't have sex appeal to a certain demographic. It also ignores the base problem (that reducing people to appearance is harmful) in favor of spite.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-25 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
Do you also think it's racist when people express that they're happy that a colorblind casting decision is pissing off racists?

(Anonymous) 2018-03-25 12:14 am (UTC)(link)
There's no such thing as colorblind.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-25 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color-blind_casting

(Anonymous) 2018-03-25 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
'A representative of the Actors' Equity Association has disputed the use of the term "color blind", preferring the definition "nontraditional casting". Nontraditional casting "is defined as the casting of ethnic minority actors in roles where race or ethnicity is not germane"'

(Anonymous) 2018-03-25 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
So do you think that it's racist when people are happy that a nontraditional casting decision is pissing off racists?

(Anonymous) 2018-03-25 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
Not particularly, but I'd take issue with it if they went about in the same manner OP has done.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-25 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
Also what's with all these loaded questions?

(Anonymous) 2018-03-25 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
Boredom, mostly.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-25 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
It's a thin line between mocking objectification and mocking the thing being objectified

a very very thin line

(Anonymous) 2018-03-25 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
And?

(Anonymous) 2018-03-25 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
and... mocking the thing being objectified is bad
