Depends. Do you like their art enough to put up with that bullshit all the time? As you said, they're going to do it anyway, whether you pay or not, and it's not your job to do anything about it, so... do you like it enough?

I'd have stopped, to be honest. That sort of crap doesn't belong on a Patreon feed, so if they're putting it there, it would be enough to get me to stop supporting them, because I wouldn't really give a fuck about their personal life.

Patreon is a business, and you're paying them for their product. If that product comes with a free side of Life Bullshit that you're not paying for nor willing to deal with, and if the art isn't good enough to make that insignificant, stop.
